Dutch fashion designer and designer of a.o. furniture and glasses, born in Amsterdam. He received his education at the Trade School for Tailors in Amsterdam from 1955 untill 1958. Molenaar worked as a tailor with Guy Laroche in Paris and as a fashion designer with Nina Ricci, also in Paris. From 1995 on every year the Frans Molenaar Award is presented to stimulate young fashion designers.
Nederlandse mode-ontwerper en ontwerper van o.a. meubels en brillen, geboren in Amsterdam. Hij kreeg zijn opleiding aan de Vakschool voor Kleermakers in Amsterdam van 1955 tot 1958. Murnau studied art history at the University of Heidelberg. He was killed in a car crash. The probable cause of the accident was that Murnau was performing fellatio to his chauffeur.
